About The Founder

Sara Sicherman is a former criminal prosecutor who built her career advocating in Alberta’s courts before founding Justice Pathway, a practice devoted to helping people navigate the justice system with clarity, dignity, and confidence.

 

Throughout her years inside the system, Sara witnessed how overwhelming it can be for individuals and families—especially when emotions, fear, and uncertainty collide with complex legal processes. She also drew on her own personal experiences with the system’s challenges, which deepened her empathy and reinforced her belief that people deserve more than legal jargon—they deserve understanding, strategy, and support.

 

Sara founded Justice Pathway to provide that bridge. Her work is grounded in discretion, compassion, and empowerment, guiding clients through difficult decisions and emotionally charged circumstances with steadiness and care.

A lifelong learner, Sara is committed to staying informed, adaptable, and well-rounded. In addition to her law degree from the University of Calgary, where she received multiple awards for social responsibility and equality, she continues to expand her expertise through training in addictions treatment, forensic science, trauma-informed practice, and entrepreneurship.

 

Her unique blend of legal expertise, emotional intelligence, and creative problem-solving allows her to approach every client’s situation with depth and humanity. Whether working with victims, witnesses, or individuals planning their next steps, Sara’s approach is always grounded in one belief: that clarity and compassion can coexist with strength—and that everyone deserves to feel supported, informed, and respected throughout their journey.
